  2. 3.2. Acoustic characteristics

    Application:
    Sound absorbing sawdust concrete slab TECHBUD CS-50-OT is sound absorbing facing of acoustic concrete baffle screens fixed on the side of sound emission.

    Acoustic properties:
    Acoustic insulation of sound absorbing sawdust concrete slab TECHBUD CS-50-OT as evaluated empirically from "law of mass" amounts to:

    Rav = 19 dB

    Characteristics of reverberated sound absorption coefficient alfa.gif (71 bytes)for elements made of sawdust concrete amounts to:

    alfa.gif (71 bytes)   0,10   0,16   0,40   0,50   0,60   0,55   0,40   0,38

    Hz 63 125 250 500 1.000 2.000 4.000 8.000

    Sound absorbing sawdust concrete slab TECHBUD CS-50-OT including concrete slab and acoustic baffle construction makes an acoustic strusture which functions as screen isolating from sound source and at the same time the side facing sound source reflects, scatters and absorbs sound.

    Shape of sound absorbing sawdust concrete slab TECHBUD CS-50-OT as well as air spaces (grooves) in the shape of half-cylinder create a set of resonators, which is why this slab is characterized by high sound absorption coefficient in a narrow frequency band, overlapping with band of extremes in traffic noise.

    ATTENTION:     Surfaces of sawdust concrete hollow bricks have outstanding adhesion which guarantees a successful coating with various paints and varnishes ( e.g. by spraying), or other finishing materials. Painting the baffles takes place after assembling acc. to the chosen graphical project (design).

    slab CS-50-OT has:    Patent claim for "utility model" no W-104331 at RP Patent Office.
